# Disabling image uploads in private messages

Hello

Is there a way to disable image uploads in private messages only, or is it impossible due to way Discourse treats PMs and public conversations?

Ot sure about a setting.. but this #Customization > Theme component could likely be modified or maybe you could see if the author might add this as a feature for pm.
