# Disabling summary frequency

Is it possible to disable the ‘only if users don’t visit’ option for email digest (referencing [Configuring Activity Summary emails](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-activity-summary-emails-guide/36627))?
Ultimately - we hope to send email digests every time interval (eg. one week) to _everyone_, regardless of whether they have visited or not.
If this is possible, any help is appreciated!

There isn’t a setting that will allow you to send the digest email to users who have visited the site during the time period set by your `default email digest frequency` site setting. The only way to accomplish this would be to write a custom plugin that overrides the logic that Discourse uses to decide which users should be sent the digest email.
