# Disclaimer for tutorials

Hello community,

I am planning to build a forum where I will put self written car repair tutorials and also allow users to publish these.

I also want to be sure to be safe for lawsuits, I case any repair goes wrong.

Where would it be mandatory to store a disclaimer?

At the bottom of each tutorial post? Or in the TOS?

I’m no legal expert but it would probably be sensible to add it to the ToS and FaQ. Maybe add a [user field](https://meta.discourse.org/t/creating-and-configuring-custom-user-fields/113192) to the sign up making users agree to the fact that they are following guides at their own risk.
