# Discobot Narrative Welcome Message Disabled

Hi there!
I have a question whether if by any change the Discobot Narrative welcome message got disabled after any of the latest Discourse updates?
I found out that ours got disabled but none of the admin disabled it so I’m wondering how that happened. If it happened automatically because of an update, are there reasons why it’s being disabled? Is there a better replacement or is there a deprecation?
Here’s a screenshot to the setting that I’m I’m referring to:

Maybe you want to support my feature request to log changes like this in the staff action logs
