# Discord search on Discourse AI

I am currently exploring the AI search options on Discord and I have attempted to configure the settings based on my understanding, but I am not receiving any Discord-related results.

I am unsure whether this is due to an error in my configuration or if the feature is still under development.

Could anyone provide some insight or guidance on this matter?

Specifically, I would appreciate it if someone could:

- Confirm whether the Discord AI search feature is operational?

- Provide a step-by-step guide or tips on how to properly configure the search options?

- Share any personal experiences or troubleshooting steps that might help to test the feature within Meta community.

This feature looks promising. We left Discord and need to search our data on their servers.

I’ll double check, but I think this works the other way around – it allows you to search Discourse from Discord.

It’s not very well documented I don’t think, and might be considered experimental, though it’s not labeled that way clearly at the moment.

This could make for a good example using MCP (Model Context Protocol).

As I actually have the need for such since OpenAI has both a Discourse forum for the API developers and a Discord forum for ChatGPT users, often with users posting on the wrong forum but the answers are sometimes correct and only on the other forum, I might create a proof of concept.
