I see Discourse Akismet (spam filter) costs about $500 a year. Apart from this, do they charge anything more?

Also, does the product catch spam before it is visible on the community? How does it work?

Maybe I’m slow, but wouldn’t it cost _less_ than $500? What if you used the Personal plan?

I’m handling multiple communities, so I’m guessing Business would probably be the way to go. And if I’m going with Business, apart from the $500, would there be any additional expense? Would you know?

I _don’t_ think so. AFAIK the API key comes with the plan, and the plugin doesn’t cost $.
