# Discourse anti-spam bot going insane

The description of the setting says:

> Low is 1 second, standard is 3 seconds, high is 5 seconds.

So, 1 millisecond won’t be enough. By default, it’s 3 seconds. It protects the forum from users posting spam that they paste into the composer. It can also affect users who use a translator and paste the result.
