# Discourse asked for Permission to access other apps?

This cane up when posting in #plugin RSS Polling plugin topic.

Android Chrome App install. Checked permissions doesn’t show any new. Still only Notifications

Is this Meta installed as a PWA, or the DiscourseHub app?

Have you seen this on other sites, or in other Discourse topics? It looks like this prompt can come up when a site is looking for local network access, but I don’t see anything obvious that would trigger that in that specific topic… do you have an ad blocker installed? if you select “block” you shouldn’t notice any issues 🤔

This only happened once here in Meta. I am guessing it would be pwa? It is just a Chrome app install.
