# Discourse aws EC2 G Suite troubleshoting

Thx Jeff, I’ve configured SMPT as it shown in google instructions. And I’ve also try [smtp-relay.gmail.com](http://smtp-relay.gmail.com) and [smtp.gmail.com](http://smtp.gmail.com) ports 465, 587.

My email not a \*\*\*\*@gmail.com. I’m using exact my G Suite email account.

**So, finally I did it!**

DISCOURSE\_SMTP\_ADDRESS: [smtp.gmail.com](http://smtp.gmail.com)  
DISCOURSE\_SMTP\_PORT: 465 → And I’ve also changed port to 587  
DISCOURSE\_SMTP\_USER\_NAME: my@corporate.email  
DISCOURSE\_SMTP\_PASSWORD: “mypassword” ← error here. I’ve removed quotes and all works just fine.  
DISCOURSE\_SMTP\_ENABLE\_START\_TLS: true

By the way quotes where added while bootstrapping.
