A big milestone today, I merged all my work-in-progress into core. We still ship the old markdown engine as default, but now have a special flag you can set to turn on commonmark. I plan to turn this on early next week on meta.

Update Phase 2 has been initiated, we have commenced testing on meta.discourse: CommonMark testing started here!
