# Discourse Custom Topic Lists

[I just posted it here](https://meta.discourse.org/t/events-calendar-on-custom-lists/415039)! Feel free to roll any of those things into it, and I’ll update the component.

I ended up building [this semi-specific TC for my own use case](https://github.com/dereklputnam/discourse-list-page-banner) to style Lists and make them more versatile. I’m not sure I’ll make a proper topic here, though, since it’s somewhat esoteric to me.

I converted all of our tag-centric pages to be Custom Lists:

- [Events](https://community.netwrix.com/lists/events) (using the calendar)
- [Product Announcements](https://community.netwrix.com/lists/product-announcements) (added the ability to tile topic images)
- [Security Advisories](https://community.netwrix.com/lists/security-advisories) (added buttons to the banner)

Sharing in case you feel like rolling any of those back into the plugin 😅
