Docs プラグインをカテゴリに指定する必要はありません。このプラグインは Docs プラグインを置き換えます。これにより、一方が他方をオーバーライドして競合が発生するため、問題が発生している可能性があります。

必要なのは、「doc categories enabled」にチェックが入っていることを確認し、カテゴリ内にインデックストピックを作成して、インデックストピックフィールドでカテゴリの設定に追加することだけです。古い Docs プラグインの設定でカテゴリが設定されている場合は、そこから削除する必要があります。
