# Discourse Event (공식) v. Events 플러그인 (Pavilion)

저희는 Discourse 인스턴스에서 이벤트 캘린더를 만들 준비를 하고 있으며, Discourse Event와 Events Plugin 중 하나를 선택하려고 노력하고 있습니다.
Events Plugin 스레드를 읽어본 결과, Pavilion에서는 가능할 경우 공식 Discourse Calendar와 Discourse Event 플러그인을 사용하도록 권장한다는 인상을 받았습니다 \[1\].
한편, Discourse Event가 아직 이벤트 캘린더에 대한 iCalendar 피드를 제공하지 않는 것으로 보입니다. 이는 Events Plugin의 훌륭하고, 제 생각에는 필수적인 기능입니다. 정말 그런가요, 아니면 이 기능을 활성화하는 방법을 완전히 놓치고 있는 건가요? 😊
또한, 지금 시점에 Events Plugin 사용을 시작할 경우의 단점이 무엇인지 궁금합니다. 제가 생각할 수 있는 단점은 두 가지입니다. i) 가까운 미래에 이 플러그인이 중단되면 공식 플러그인으로 마이그레이션해야 합니다. ii) Events Plugin은 공식 플러그인이 아니므로, 새로운 Discourse 버전이 출시될 때 깨지거나(Discourse 재빌드 실패를 유발하거나)할 가능성이 더 높습니다.
이 플러그인들을 사용하시는 분들의 의견과 조언을 진심으로 듣고 싶습니다 😁

Events 플러그인이 가까운 미래에 중단될 가능성은 전혀 없다고 확인해 드립니다. 오히려 정반대로, 비즈니스 등급 구독 서비스를 출시하기 위해 준비를 하고 있습니다.

혹시 캘린더 플러그인의 메인 개발자이신 것 같아 질문드립니다. ical이나 rss 피드를 실행 중으로 가져오는 방법에 대한 지원을 받고 있어요. 클라이언트 ID와 API 키는 있지만, URL을 통해 설치한 구글 캘린더와 동기화하는 방법을 모르겠어요.
설명이 담긴 문서 파일이 있을까요? 원래 이 내용을 설명하던 링크 주소는 더 이상 존재하지 않아요. 참고로 저는 우리 Discourse 플랫폼에서 관리자 권한이 없는 일반 사용자/모더레이터입니다.
