Discourse groups on profile

AI-generated summary

Maarahva_Platvorm inquired about displaying all groups a user is part of on their profile, noting that only a few are visible before being hidden. They also asked about setting badges for group members and if these badges can be automatically removed when a user is removed from the group. Maarahva_Platvorm later discovered that clicking the three dots reveals the full list of groups. jahan_gagan confirmed that Discourse shows a limited number of groups on profiles, with the rest accessible via the three dots, and provided a link to a topic explaining how to use Discourse Automation to sync badges with groups.

Hi!

I would like to display on user profiles the information about all groups that the user is included in.

But I can only see the first few and then the rest of them are hidden after …

Also can I set a badge for all members of a group?

Can that badge be removed automatically when user is removed from the group?

Thanks so much! Loving Discourse!

Oh snap, already found that I can click on the three dots there… LOL!

Still can the question regarding badges remains, thanks!

Discourse only displays a limited number of user groups directly on the user profile; the rest are hidden under a “three dots” expansion. If you (or users) want to see the full list, just click the three dots (... ) on the user’s profile.

Discourse Automation can sync badges with groups. See:
