Is there an easy way for changing my discourse instace URL from somedomain.com to somedomain.com/forum wich should display my discourse?

Nope, no easy way available … you can read more about it here: Install to subfolder instead of subdomain (SEO optimization)

Thanks for your reply. I have allready been there and there are no instructions on how to do it.

You won’t find any instructions on how to do this. This was doable some time ago but has since been disabled.

This is possible with highly customized reverse proxy but it could take days or weeks to configure and requires specialized knowledge and high level intelligence (read: Stephen Hawking level intelligence).

Honestly, the best thing to do is just to have Discourse on it’s own subdomain.

ok. solved it. now my question is , can i run discourse and a meteor app on the same server with same ip ?

Sure… but you may have to create a custom NGINX configuration and configure your docker to use a different port than port 80.
Here is some discussion about it Using nginx alongside the Docker install

WOW, it looks heavy-duty! I’ll give it a try. Thanks!

Hah, more like “disabled because it was broken and didn’t work”.
