# Discourse Hub app does not work on latest stable any more

Any ideas why I am getting the same error message “this forum is using an outdated version of Discourse” if my Discourse is running v2.2.0.beta3? Specifically [this commit](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/compare/eb54bf9e5bb725231d93ad61b9ecdeccf5087bc2...beta)?

As far as I can tell the API key in this version is 3, so there must be another reason.
