If you did a [standard install](https://meta.discourse.org/t/142537?silent=true), you’re on the `tests-passed` branch, which is also called the beta version. That is the recommended branch, and it is what we use in production. There is a `stable` branch – has one or two releases per year. For most sites it is not recommended, as it only receives security patches and the most serious bug-fixes. ---
