I agree with a skeptical attitude on this! But I don’t suggest it idly - I’m fairly sure we’ve seen a case of a long-running system which did improve with a reboot. (Edit: [here](https://meta.discourse.org/t/failed-to-upgrade-discourse-instance-to-feb-15-2022/218204), although it was a different case.)
