Considering the existing legal regulation like licenses and copyright have been entirely ignored, I wouldn’t keep my hopes up. 
Even if a company like Google is slapped with a class action and are fined tens of billions, it’s still a drop in the ocean compared to the hundreds of billions they’ve poured into LLMs. The power law dynamics of “winner takes most” makes crime extremely profitable for these companies.
