# Discourse no longer can be updated

and when Update All button is pushed I get this screen:

Still, quite a bit abnormal thing happened few days ago: in the middle of web-based update I accidentally pushed back button in the browser and forum was aftwerwards displaying just a few options which were not functional. What saved me was update from the command line, and now everything seems to work except web-based update.

In cases like this we recommend updating from the console, you did the right thing.

Tried it again updating from CLI, and it works, it’s just that web update seem to be permanently broken ☹

Reset Update helped recovering web update system
