# Discourse not loading on Opera with Block Ads

This is the first time this happened and I have not idea if Discourse team supports operation on Opera but it’s not loading when block ads setting is enabled. Opera has a default Block Ads setting and I have no other ads blocker installed.
I have also checked this on other browsers with ads blocker but it works perfect on those browser. It just started to happen on Opera today.

It sounds like you are blocking javascript. Check the Opera preferences.

I just checked, the Javascript setting is on Allowed (Recommended). But as I enable the Block ads settings then only the website doesn’t open well. Moreover, my own discourse website works even when Block Ads setting is enabled. Only this Meta Discourse website is acting strange from this morning.

So whitelist it in Opera. If the problem still occurs then it is probably something else other than blocking JavaScript. You might, for example, have blocked cookies.
