After each successful shell rebuild, my discourse takes about half hour to actually start running. My server is powerful. So I don’t know why I am facing this delay. Is it normal?
After a new image starts running your site should be functioning in a minute or two.
How powerful is your server?
I’m running on a raid 5 SAS disk with 4 core CPU and 8GB of ram. After rebuild consumption of resources are minimal until after half hour sidekiq and unicorn start running which increase CPU and RAM consumption to normal.
And you’re running a standard docker install? Does
./discourse-doctor suggest anything?
It seems everything is normal.
I think sidekiq and unicorn are triggering late. maybe there is a cronjob or something behind it?
