# Discourse search is awfully unsmart!

Hi, I just [searched in the Fairphone forum](https://forum.fairphone.com/search?q=will%20my%20phone%20work%20in%20another%20country) and first got this, which wasn’t helpful:
I then [erased only one word](https://forum.fairphone.com/search?q=will%20my%20work%20in%20another%20country) (_phone_) and immediately found the topic I was looking for (1st result, far more matches!)
How can that be? Am I the only one, who never finds anything? (Ok that’s exaggerated, but I often get the impression that too many search terms don’t help me much.)

Search with google as needed, there is a form for it on every 404 page, so try
[https://forum.fairphone.com/404](https://forum.fairphone.com/404)

This isn’t very convenient… Maybe a tag similar to `user:username` can
be implemented: `search:google`.
