# Discourse theme selection doesn't work after update to 2.9.0beta1

After update i can’t see the theme list in user menu. Also the problems started with some other components (screenshot like this - [https://www.lubezniy.ru/screens/6f77b13f2f839728a8d532b0593cf9c563338.png](https://www.lubezniy.ru/screens/6f77b13f2f839728a8d532b0593cf9c563338.png) ). Is it update problem, or we can do something with configuration?

Just checking, have you ported to using the official sidebar-theme-toggle?

This is the current supported way of having a theme switcher (like we do on meta)
