# Discourse uploads image in wrong format

Today I’ve faced the following issue  
We have a new logo, and when uploading it to Discourse, the PNG files converts to a JPEG one and generates a white background. What’s annoying is that the logo is white, so it’s needed to have the transparent background on PNG, but Discourse removes it

See this example  
Attempt to upload this image: `https://assets.kodular.io/images/brand/white.png`  
Discourse will upload it as a JPEG file as here:
