(Anthony Giovannetti) #1

Just setup the WordPress Discourse Plugin. Our first notable reply looks like this:

The missing image is an emoji. Anyway to fix this?

What’s the emoji image URL map to? When you right click that image and say “copy link” what does it tell you?

git cloning on windows and copying those files to linux manually could break those links.

take a look my post at another thread.

It points to: http://stimhack.com/plugins/emoji/images/smile.png

The Emoji works in the forums, and that points to: http://forum.stimhack.com/plugins/emoji/images/smile.png

Seems like the WP plugin should use absolute URLs for the emoji paths rather than relative.

(YOU) #6

The actual image points to ./unicode/1f604.png

OK - http://forum.stimhack.com/plugins/emoji/images/unicode/1f604.png

404 - http://stimhack.com/plugins/emoji/images/unicode/1f604.png

May be confirm ./unicode directory(a symlink to another folder) & those files(symlinks) exists and not broken.

This is still an issue even after the emoji path changes, @zogstrip will look into it.
