Do you have a tutorial for the discourse-matomo-analytics plugin, and how to view backend statistics? Or can this effect be achieved through custom scripts, and where can scripts be imported or written?

What more docs do you need? Have you tried installing the Matamo theme component and setting it up with your Matamo account?
