Announcements category vs Community Events

I’m struggling with improving community experience for my users. I have separate category for the “Announcements and Events”. For the general events it works perfectly fine. But then, within my Forums, I have other ongoing events. If one wants to keep track of everything that is going on in my community, they would have to manually check each category.
