# Displaying Tag Descriptions on Hover of the tag\_name

Has anyone found a way to display tag descriptions when hovering the cursor over a tag? I came across a plugin that shows a preview for topics, but I’m not sure if anyone has extended it to cover this functionality, as it seems like a common use case. Any suggestions or insights?

Isn’t it the default behavior? Tag descriptions show when hovering the cursor over a tag on my sites 🤔
What browser and OS are you using, and can you provide a link to your site where it’s not working?
