# Does a Member Directory Exist?

Does a plugin like this exist?
I want a user directory that lives on a seperate domain name. If my community lives at [forum.mycommunity.com](http://forum.mycommunity.com), I want a member directory to live on [directory.mycommunity.com](http://directory.mycommunity.com).
The user directory has the ability to search for other users based on location, user fields, etc…
Through my research I found a few posts talking about a member directory but they were back in 2014/2015.
Does something like this exist or would it need to be custom coded?

This would need to be made using the API and cant be done with plain discourse (not including the API)

No but you can make a post in #Marketplace to hire somebody (make sure to read guidelines) or once you have some code you can ask for some help in #Development if its a problem with the API its self and not the code.

A member directory that can be customised does exist, but it may not be quite as detailed as you are hoping. See [Discourse Meta](https://meta.discourse.org/u) for the one here on Meta. You can add additional custom user fields.
