# Does adding social login increase signup

Hi all

I’m wondering if anyone has stats on how adding social logins have helped user signups? I have had our forum [https://forum.cleanenergyreviews.info](https://forum.cleanenergyreviews.info) going for a few weeks, and am a little resistant to adding social logins (though not really sure why, maybe the issue with FB has made me lose faith). Are there compelling reasons to add them, or does it depend on the type of community you have?

We recommend it, yes. Easier for people to sign up and it is (usually) more secure, Facebook incidents notwithstanding.
