# Does Adsense Plugin Support New Vignette Ad Format?

Good Afternoon,  
I have received an alert in my Adsense account telling me to turn on their new Vignette Ad format. According to Adsense:

> Vignette ads are full-screen ads that appear between page loads and can be skipped by users at any time.  
> **Vignette ads is a top performing ad format**. All you have to do is turn on the toggle in your Auto ads settings to start serving vignette ads.

I have configured the Adsense plugin on Discourse years ago, and it functions normally. If I turn on the new format, will Discourse support it? I have screenshot the full message from Adsense below, thank you.

We’ve been using vignette ads for a while now (link in my profile here if you want to see it in action).

No issues to report, apart from one…

It is _THE_ most horrendous user experience 😔

But it’s also the highest performing advert-type (by far) 🙄

But it must _really_ annoy people 😕

What can you do eh 🤷‍♂️

Yes, it works. And yes, those annoy so hard that I’m a bit sceptic how well display ads really sell.
