Continuing the discussion from [Split profile hiding and presence](https://meta.discourse.org/t/split-profile-hiding-and-presence/184316/28): The site setting `Allow users to hide profile` still says that this will “Allow users to hide their profile and presence.” Is that still true? Bumping this… If `Allow users to hide profile` is unchecked, and `Default hide presence` is unchecked, Users will not be able to `Hide my public profile`, but will still retain the toggle for Online/Offline. However, even if the user toggles to offline, they’re still present. Wouldn’t that be “misleading”?
