# Does updating a post update the Discourse content?

…as in, if I update the original article in Wordpress, will the content quotes in the top-level discourse post be updated with the changes?

The content won’t be automatically updated on Discourse when you update the WordPress post. To push the updated content to Discourse, you need to click the ‘Update Topic’ button from the Discourse sidebar.
