# Don't create post when publishing a shared draft

Where `create_post_for_category_and_tag_changes` is enabled and a shared draft is published, there is a post created because the category has been changed\[1\].

My logic behind not including this post when publishing is simply because the ‘category changed’ isn’t included in the post’s revision history. So, to me it doesn’t make much sense as to why a post is created for such. When publishing a topic I think it should be considered a ‘fresh’ topic, so adding this post _after_ publishing affects that fact.

In fairness, I’ve just discovered this site setting for the first time yesterday, so my guess is that it isn’t that widely used and this scenario probably hasn’t come about before.
