# Download Counter

Hello All

It seems that Discourse provides a counter for the number of Downloads (of documents uploaded in a post).

Currently our installation looks like the first line, but this forum indicates it is possible to show a download counter. How can this feature be turned on / activated?

On my forum I don’t see download counter.  
It would be nice to see downloads like click on links.

There isn’t a download counter. Most people usually right-click and “Save as”, so a counter wouldn’t work anyway.

This thread implies that download counter is actually a feature, but I don’t see it on own discourse site either. Did it get removed at some point?
