# Edit Limit for Forum

Hi guys!

Does anyone know how to change the edit limit of the forum? A user has the problem that he performed too many edits and I was wondering if there is a specific function in the backend handling this.

There are several site settings that relate to edit restrictions. If you search for “edit” in the Settings section of your admin dashboard, you should find a nice list. The `max_edits_per_day` setting sounds like the one he’s hitting.
