# Editing a topic with an invalid title will still push it to the top

Case:

- Create a topic with a valid title
- Wait til other topics appear (by other users, whatever)
- Go edit the title to something invalid, you’ll get an error that’s it’s not accepted
- Press the X to cancel the edit
- The topic will be pushed to the top as if it had been edited.
