# Editing posts cause notification

This is probably a different matter, but I often get notifications for edits to other people’s posts - I think because they are “wiki” posts that I’m watching, eg [Troubleshoot email on a new Discourse install](https://meta.discourse.org/t/troubleshooting-email-on-a-new-discourse-install/16326) - and I find it very helpful.
