# Email don't send

My forum does not want to send emails.

When trying to work in the admin panel and launching a test email, the following error appears. Tell me what is the reason? So I couldn’t figure it out on my own… 😔

**ERROR** — getaddrinfo: Name or service not known

That usually means that the hostname for your SMTP server does not exist. It could also mean that your server does not have internet access.
