# Email just refuses to work

I’ve been trying for days now to integrate Discourse into the Digital Ocean account, and I just know it’s something extremely simple, but I’ve tried 10 different ways and the email just never sends.
The following is the information (minus pass of course) into it and then the cpanel email information. If someone has any ideas what I input wrong, please tell me. Thank you.
Enter the email address to use for the Discourse admin account (ex. user@example .org) [admin@community.gamermeld.com](mailto:admin@community.gamermeld.com)
Enter the domain or subdomain pointed to this Discourse instance (ex. forum.exam [ple.org](http://ple.org)): [community.gamermeld.com](http://community.gamermeld.com)
Enter the SMTP server to use to send email (ex: [smtp.example.org](http://smtp.example.org)): [community.gamermeld.com](http://community.gamermeld.com)
SMTP Port (default 587):2525
SMTP Username (ex. [user@example.org](mailto:user@example.org)): [admin@community.gamermeld.com](mailto:admin@community.gamermeld.com)
SMTP Password:

Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.

(Recommended)

Password: Use the email account’s password.

My guess is that the SMTP server won’t allow you to send from your Digital Ocean server and instead wants you to connect from wherever cPanel is running.

You’ll need to talk to whomever runs that server.
