# Email Notifications based on questions with specific tag

Hello,
I am very interested in the Discourse solution.
I would like to know if users could kind of subscribe to a specific tag so when a new question/message is posted with this tag they receive an email notification.

Users can set tags to be watched in their profile prefetences.
There is not a default user setting for admins to designate tags to be watched. That would be nice to have like currently possible for categories.

actually before asking this question I had a look at my profile preferences and didn’t find it.
But after you answer and a second look and scrolling down the page I finally found it.
