# Email polling problem

I set up the pop3 email polling and now all of my gmail emails have been sent a reply and they have been added to the forum. What do I do to get them off and how do I troubleshoot my set up to see why this happened?

You probably enabled the `email in` site setting.

“Allow users to post to new topics via email… Configure the addresses in the “Settings” tab for each category”
