# Emailing monthly/weekly reports from Discourse

I want to be able to send a DL (an internal team) every month that contains some forum stats. Is there an option that I might have missed?

You can use #automation to send the results of a [Data explorer](https://meta.discourse.org/t/32566?silent=true) query as a message

Ooh interesting.

Some of the members of the DL don’t have forum accounts, but might just want to see how the activity is on my community. I wouldn’t want them to create one on my community.

You can send messages to email addresses. But I haven’t tried to combine that with an automation.
