# Emails don't get through always

I replied via email and it didn’t get through. My guess is that it’s because I quoted a link so the system was like “this link has already been posted in the thread”.

Did you contact the admin of that forum? They should be able to see the reason why the email was rejected in the email logs.

I’d be surprised if an email was rejected because it contains a link that was posted before. Why should that be blocked for emails while you can do that on the forum?
