# Emoji popup too aggressive with ) followed by colon

This has bothered me at least 3 times today, leading to the realisation that I tend to end sentences with a bracketed statement (like this):

It would be nice if either the popup didn’t appe1ar after a `):`, or if hitting Enter didn’t select the first emoji.

Hitting ESC Enter also doesn’t clear it, which is aggravating.
