This is such a small issue, and I would imagine has been brought up before. But is there a reason why some emoji shortcuts dont work followed by period? :). :(. ;). ---

Because :(. means sad vampire after disappointing feed 😉 I don’t think we should be supporting this cause :(…) should not mean ☹…) I think the current behavior in this department is correct, shorthands must be standalone. ---
