# Empty emails and notifications generated on topic assignment

Hi everyone,

My teammates and I are receiving empty email notifications when a **watched** topic gets assigned. Is this expected behaviour ? if so is there a way to disable this behaviour ?

As is I can’t really see the value of the empty email :

Same issue with push notifications - notification is empty.

I am pretty sure I fixed this with a few other quirks per
