# Enable "advanced" search for admin using the user rolodex

It would be cool if the powerful search functionality for posts and topics could be available for admin looking to find users who signed up between X and Y date and belong to groups A, B + C. Exporting the user list off and sorting can be a little laborious and creating a [data explorer](https://meta.discourse.org/t/32566?silent=true) script for the “one off” here and there seems overkill. 👍
