この件は先日発生したのですが、どこで読んだのか正確には思い出せません。

私の記憶では、意図的にそうしているように見えるコードの一行が原因のようです。もう少し情報を掘り起こしてみます。

最近ここに追加されたのだと思います。

assets/javascripts/initializers/disable-sort.js

49303963e

import discourseComputed from "discourse-common/utils/decorators";
import { withPluginApi } from "discourse/lib/plugin-api";

export default {
  name: "disable-sort",
  initialize() {
    withPluginApi("0.8", (api) => {
      api.modifyClass("component:topic-list", {
        pluginId: "discourse-calendar",

        @discourseComputed("category")
        sortable(category) {
          let disableSort = true;
          if (category && category.custom_fields) {
            disableSort = !!category.custom_fields["disable_topic_resorting"];
          }
          return !!this.changeSort && !disableSort;
        },
      });
    });
